ohhkay herez a prob which im facin.......n i need some solution ...

well its becomes shameful sumtimes when ure goin on a motor ways in ure khyber or margalla n a fringin mehran over takes u n ure bangin ure head in the stearing wheel because ure car wont just run... ppl say its because ure engine is farigh, but actually its cng problems...

i currently have a cultus.....2000 model very well maintained.... its NOT factory fitted cng.... the car has a great great pick i hardly notice any diff b/w petrol and cng,, but the prob is that when i touch 80 the car dies out it does not go further ..... i went to many mechanics (who r mostly dumb), none cud solve the prob, but atlast i came to know the prob that it was my ventury ( the "small circular silver (metal) ring which helps to giv the carburator gas)"...

there r many ways to install venturies :

1) efi cars => put it in the air filter section and the engine sucks in air+gass

2) ordinary ventury => most cars (my car aswell)

3) a ventury wid holes => to giv gas to both jets

4) factory fitted venturies => seperate pipes for both jets

5) drill a hole in carburator => only 1 jet gets gas

Now the prob is that i have a simple ventury installed, and it sullpies gas to the 1st jet, but as the car goes to around 80 the 2nd jet opens and it does not get enough gas n the car dies on pick... a solution is to put a ventury with holes, that sprays gas all over in the carburator.... but this way when only one jet needs that gas, all of the gas cumin into the carburator will not got to the 1st jet.... so a decrease in pick will result....
all i mentioned in the begining mehrans overtakin khybers and margalls, dats bcoz dey have got this "holes wali venury installed".

another solution is to install a factory fitted wali ventury which has 2 small seperate pipes for both jets, one person told me that gas ONLY comes thru the 2nd pipe ONLY when the 2nd jet actually needs that gas, other wise all of it goes to the 1st jet, so u get gud pick + good speed

my question is that does any1 know that the factory wali ventury DOES ACTUALLY block the gas going to the 2nd jet and giv it only when the 2nd jet opens ? if not then why should i waste money in installing that i mite as well get hold of 2 small pipes and shove them in both the jets .....

drilling a hole in the carb to supply gas is the best way to increase ure pick, but ure car wont go above 90-100 or it wil start missing or "jhatkay" at arnd 100 ...
