Compression Ratio

Salam,

yaar i wanted to get my Civic 2000 Vti's Compression ratio set.

It really effects the performance! but i just wanted to know that yahan ab jab workshop pe jaon ga to wahan kia kahon? i mean will they understand "compression ratio"?? i know im asking a stupid question! lol

just had a little confusion! and can the compression ratio be set electronically via the ECU or mechanically?

compression can be checked easily by anyne who has the right tools. you can even do it yourself.

whoever told you it coudl be set electronically should have his head examined. Compression is how much the piston compresses the contents of the cylinder - it's purely mechanical.

yes, higher compressions on a NA engine can give more power but id suggest you stick to the stock setup unless you are massively swapping out the internals of the engine.
