Confused Between 3rd Gen Prius & Honda Fit Hybrid 2nd Gen

Salam, members.
I want to buy a car and I shortlisted two cars, 3rd gen Prius and Honda Fit Hybrid 2nd gen. Please help me to make the decision, which one is the best. I need a car and I want to keep it for my family to travel to long and short distances. I also think about the resale value of the car. I look the fuel economy and which car, I can keep at the reasonable price and the spare parts of that cars can be available in the market easily.
I wait for the advice of the experienced users, who will share good piece of advice regarding the vehicle and their fuel economy and which one is easy to keep.

when making a capital investment use brain & wisdom. USED 3 year old scrap hybrid is useless investment, at the price of locally assembled new vehicle with warranty, support & services.
