Corolla brakes!!!!!!advise required

aoa all...........can u plz help me out in getting the corolla gli 2006 brakes better?????????i contacted a mechanic n he said it can be improved n for this he will introduce drum brakes(of japanese corolla 97) at the rear wheels and have sum japanese disc pads at the front.......n is giving me the guarantee........kharcha is around 8-10 k...what should i do ?????????????????

Officials from Toyota Sahara Motors firstly said it is a manufacturing fault for this model.
After checking our Corolla GLi 2007, they totally refused that of any fault in our Corolla's braking, and said it is perfect, where as we still face problem while sudden braking or somewhat hard braking that car slips going everywhere.

I have heard by adjusting brakes by adding % distribution to rear wheels, the problems are resolved, but not sure if it will result in success.

Anyone with this problem resolved?
