Correct tyre air pressure

Correct tyre air pressure

dear members!
the recommended tyre pressure by manufacturer is 26psi
in all tyres. but this is set to 28psi at front and 30psi in back tyres(which is normally done here due to our road conditions ). i want to know the advantages and disadavantegs of this practice. the car is cuore.
thanks.

26 is low, 28 is best, 30 is fine too. lower tire pressure means surface & point of contact increases thus fuel efficiency worsens and tire life reduces. Higher pressure means stiffer ride and more precise, better for higher speeds but not at all recommended for rain, ice, snow & city driving in general (32+)

I keep my cars at 30psi (Civic n Rolla), never any issue. Both are equipped with Pirelli tires.
