Could low-quality o r incompatible engine oil used during local maintenance be a reason behind Alsvin’s high oil consumption?

Some service centers in Pakistan use non-recommended oil grades. Could this lead to increased oil burning o r leakage?

Definitely. Many non-dealer workshops in Pakistan use 10W-40 mineral oil, which is not recommended for the Alsvin’s engines. Alsvin typically requires 5W-30 o r 5W-40 fully synthetic oil.
Using thicker o r lower-quality oil leads to:

Improper lubrication

Thermal breakdown under high temperatures

Increased oil burning, especially if valve seals o r piston rings are already marginal
Always verify oil grade and API/SN rating during service.
