Cultus problem

Dear All,

I am having problem with my CULTUS VXRi. We recently installed central locking in the car nearly 4-5 months back. However, since last month, i cannot start the car at first ignition. It gives a dead sound like "tik, tik" without any engine start and with time it started increasing. Till last week, the car was taking 6-8 ignition switches to start the car. Along with that, headlight was getting dim & and then normal during driving and the same was happening with AC as well.

At first i thought it can be a problem with central locking, but disabling it didnt help either. Then i was thinking about charging the battery as it looked like a battery problem too. On saturday, the car ignition gave up and it was not starting at all, mechanic told me that its a battery problem so i got the battery charged and the problem looked to get restored. However, one day after that, i started having the same problem again.

Can any one please guide me what can be the problem with the car??
