Cygnus.. Genuine Diesel or Altered ones?

Im upto buying a Cygnus 2003/2004 model.. some1 related to auto market told me all cygnus coming to pak are originally petrol ones, but converted to diesel, though with original toyota engines.. is it true? Any expert opinion will be highly appreciated please

brother there is no such model as Cygnus Diesel...they all r petrol version...n btw yes it is true that they have been playing around with these suv's like they use to convert a toyota landcruiser to lexus with diesel engine which comes in the toyota LC...Cygnus n Lexus r almost the same like they have the same petrol engine n both have 4 headlights whereas a toyota LC comes both in petrol as well as diesel verion n it has got 2 headlights.
