D15B help for Race Car

Hey guys!

I've been reading through this forum with great interest and finally decided to post.

I have a racing team here in the US, we are currently running 2 EF Civic Si hatchbacks, the car we fielded this year ended up taking 4th place at the National Championships. Our 2nd car is being completely redone, using the 1.5l non vtec from a civic standard.

We decided to do this because of the way the rules for or class are written, with the modifications we are allowed to do it should be a better motor then the 1.6l we have in the current car.

The new car's setup will be as follows:
Civic si 5speed transmission w/ Kaaz LSD and custom gears
12:1 compression bottom end using D16a6 pistons
Fully flown and ported DPR Head
Full race cam (we are still testing different options)
Skunk2 Intake Manifold with 60mm Throttlebody
custom ram air intake/header etc
hondata s300 ecu

anyway I need your help. We are trying to source the crankshaft from a D15B jdm motor. We never got that motor here in the states, and the crankshaft from the d15b is substantially lighter than others, also it will allow us to use the pistons we want (with custom connecting rods)

My family in karachi can send the crank to me, I just need to steer them in the right direction on where to source the part itself.

We are expecting about 160 WHEEL hp and since the competition weight of the car with driver and fuel is only 2160 lbs, it should be a screamer. You can find more info on the race team at the link in my sig.

any help you can give would be great!

well, personally id advise to rather build a d16y8, considering its the best D for n/a, or even better a b16 type R, easier to find in the states and will dish out more power

about the d15b, u need a whole new bottom block, u cant find the crank only..
