Daewoo Race IAC sensor needed!!

Hi All,

Had a break down early in the morning on way to office... my daewoo racer's RPM shooted to 4000 and it wont come back... stopped to see if the accelerator cable is stuck etc... but it was something with the sensors

so started the road side troubleshooting... i suspected the IAC to be malfunctioning and so it was... after a bit of hit and trial.. go the RPM to 1500

the IAC is not working for sure.. has alot of play and its old.

now where can i find the IAC new or kabli... whats recommended?

plz dont refer me to daewoo company so called specialists... i have had worst experiences with them.

is the IAC available at azhar shaheed market? price?

You can find an IAC valve from Daewoo Plus, G-7, Fire Brigade today. But I would recommend to wait for today (majority of parts dealer observe holiday on Friday except the Daewoo Plus! ) and tomorrow, contact Federal Autos, I-10. I won't recommend a kabli IAC valve since they are prone to malfunction. (y)
