Diesel Car Does not start after long drive

I have corolla diesel (2000cc) 2002 model.

It happened the second time that we had to push the car at least within 24 hours for starting after switching off after a long drive of 500 kms. This second time we had to call mechanic to start my car. But once started it never gives this problem again.

Please comment and diagnose.
