Diesel to petrol

I owe an 86 corolla
Initially it was on petrol
Then got converted on diesel since last 5 years
Now its engine is demanding general overhauling
I cant turn my AC on any more
I ve two choices
Petrol+cng or Diesel
Diesel bit rough and tough and require almost no tuning m bit lazy too
Economy on long routs

Petrol+cng
lahore Trafic jam always first 2nd gear .
I m impressed with the Economy factor of CNG

The only thing which scares me is CNG problems and frequent tuning
And long lines on CNG stations

IF you recommend petrol then which engine ????
IF Diesel then should I go for overhauling or get a new diesel engine
I ve a budget of 1 lack
