Diesel vs. gasoline in pak

Slm ppl, writing form abroad, on average how would you rate the performance of diesel and gasoline in pak? i know there is different quality from 1 gasstation to the next, some give more mileage while others surprices. And what would you recommend for german cars? diesel or petroleum? or does it even matter? in general diesel is more economically suitable......... care to share your opinion.....tnx
