Diff. b/w petrol and cng price
How much diff. is there in cng and petrol price??? i am using baleno 1.3!!! on cng its good but needs to get cng setting in week or month and cost much on maintenance (leakage of spark from coil ,,plug wires changed ,,, broken air filter due to fire back,, sensors changed,,throtal body needs to be cleaned after 6months and throtal butterfly chang with in a year) but no prob. on petrol and on 55 cylinder (full in 350 rs)it runs arond 100km !!!!!!! I MEAN AM I SAVING MONEY OR WHAT ????? CUS car parts ain cheep!!!! i am running my car on petrol for a week and it costs me 500 rs per 150 km (i think !!! but headeach free) now i am thinking of removing cng kit !!!!

if you calculate JUST the comparison of MPG or L/100km then yes CNG is cheaper. but if you factor in all the additional costs you have mentioned then it would seem that in your case CNG is barely more cost effective. you must also factor in the headache of waiting in long lines and eventually replacing the entire rear suspension of your car due to excessive wear.
in my opinion CNG only makes sense on small & light cars and ONLY if you use a faber cylinder as the rest are just too heavy. also having a riced our car on CNG is like having a neon sign on your head saying "i'm an idiot" since ricers put bodykits on their cars which create drag which severely affects aerodynamics which leads to less fuel economy. same applies to idiots who fill their cars with stereo and video equipment, the added weight means less fuel efficiency.
sorry for the rant, but whenever i hear CNG i always feel that i must point out these things. also i was not refering to your car with the examples above, just speaking generally.
