Difference between different engines , D15, G15 , H22 etc

hi experts
1-wat is the difference between D15 and G 15.
2-any one can inform us a complete list of different engines , with specification and which engine came (factory fitted) with which car , maker , model (mention those cars which are being driven in pakistan i.e civic, lancer , corolla, spectra , daewoo etc )

As for the D15-G15 comparison... mmm...

D15: Honda Engine
G15: Suzuki Engine
D15: Single over head cam
G15: Dual Over head cams
D15: Distributor Ignition.
G15: Coil packs.
D15: Not in production anymore.
G15: Still in production.
D15: bla
G15: bla bla
