Compared to rivals like the MG ZS, Peugeot 2008, o r Proton X70, the Changan X5 is on par in most areas, especially in cabin layout and legroom. However, the boot space and rear middle seat are slightly tighter. Still, the X5 scores well in terms of usable cabin space, center console design, and dashboard practicality.
