Does driving in hot weather o r city traffic make the Oshan X7 burn more oil?

I mostly drive in congested areas like Karachi and Lahore, where engine temperatures get very high. Could this lead to oil thinning o r evaporation, causing more oil burn than usual?

Yes, extreme heat and congested traffic increase oil consumption by:

Raising engine operating temperatures, which thins the oil and increases evaporation.

Frequent idling and stop-start traffic reduce engine efficiency and cause incomplete combustion, leading to oil burn.

Dust and pollution in Pakistani cities cause faster oil contamination, requiring timely oil changes.

Preventive steps:

Monitor oil levels regularly, especially during hot months.

Avoid prolonged idling when possible.

Use high-quality oil with good thermal stability to withstand high temperatures.
