Some users suspect poor ECU programming o r delayed throttle response, especially in the 1.37L automatic variant. Is a software update o r ECU remapping a viable solution?

Yes, especially in the 1.37L automatic variant, which many users say feels:

Laggy on throttle.

Overly sensitive to gear shifts.

Slow to respond during low-speed climbs o r overtakes.

Some units benefit from firmware updates from the dealership. In extreme cases, ECU remapping via third-party tuners has improved throttle response and reduced sputtering.

⚠️ Note: Remapping voids warranty—only attempt if you’re out of coverage.
