Does the Oshan X7 engine require high-octane fuel in Pakistan to run smoothly?

Ive heard mixed opinions about fuel requirements for the turbo engine in the Changan Oshan X7. Do I need to regularly use high-octane fuel, o r is normal petrol okay? What happens if I use low-quality fuel commonly available at smaller fuel stations?

The manufacturer recommends RON 91 o r higher, which means regular petrol is acceptable, but using high-octane fuel every few refuels is beneficial in Pakistan. Heres why:

Regular petrol RON 87–90 at local stations may have impurities o r lower combustion quality.

High-octane fuel RON 92–95 helps prevent knocking, improves throttle response, and maintains engine health in turbocharged engines.

Mixing high-octane with regular fuel e.g., every 2–3 refuels is a good practice in cities with poor fuel quality.
