Don't mess up with the carburator and consumption???

Salam,

I'm having trouble with the consumption of my Charade. Its on Petrol, doing 8Km/L. The daily usage is as follows:

* 4Km from home to office and 4Km back from office to home.
* 1 police naaka each at both trips with long queues of traffic (Car in 1st gear for about 5-8 minutes)
* 2 U-turns in this 4Km path.

I start the car and warm the engine for about one minute. Most of the trip is in 2nd/3rd gear.

Then looking for some parking space in 1st gear. Its a long parking space.

Considering all this, is this consumption normal or I should contact some mechanic to have some fun with the carburetor???
