Dual batteries in LC

today i visited toyota capital motors in islamabad and ther i saw a toyota LC. it had two huge batteries, it was a 6 cylinder diesel version.
my question is that is the electric system of lc running on 24 volts( 2 batteries in series) or its on 12 volta (batteries in parallel) ?

The purpose of Dual batteries in the Land Cruiser / Lexus 4x4 is for electrical support to Electronic accessories.

It is 12 x 12 in Parallel ( for increased current load of accessories) supported by electronically controlled Alternator.

You may notice slight variation of RPM at idle if you start activating all electrical items one by one. Sunroof, Aircon, Front & Rear blower system, electronic front seats, bottle cooler and headlights.
