EE 90 Heat Up
EE 90 Heat Up
I own a EE 90 Auto Transmission. Image attached
55K CNG Tank. with clock at 111056 (after 1st engine overhaul at 155000) as of today.
I regularly check the coolant & reservoir however , --
DAILY "in the evening after 5.45PM" ride home after 8 kms journey, (either CNG or Petrol) the temperature rise and go slightly above the half, IT does not come down even after aircon is turned off, - have checked the hose pipes and the possible air bubbles in the pipe linking reservoir & radiator, all seems to be OK.
Any expert or experienced people on this forum can guide / help me over come this please -
Please don't ask me to change the car. ! It is my regular ride to & from work and am addicted to it.

basically you need to check first if the car is actually heating up or not. May be it is rising due to travelling rush. check for following.
- Coolant level decreases or not. If its not decreasing, check for any oil drops in radiator. if both symptoms are not found, check ur temp needle if it goes slight above mid, and stays there no matter how much you drive, then nothing to worry abt, it might be the problem with the gauge or sensor.
- if coolant level decreases, check for leaks, radiator cap is pressure tight, fan is working, thermostat valve is working, water boiling in radiator.
- if oil drops found in radiator, ur gasket is at fault.
