*Emergency Please Help*Suzuki Alto Clutch Problem :(

Asalam Alaikam,
Dear fellows I hope you all are fine by the grace of Allah.

Yesterday I washed the engine bay of my car and parked it in the garage.
Now,today when I started the car and tried to engage the gear, the gear was not moving.Simply,the gear wasn't working.

I switched off the car and then engaged the gear,the gear was working properly.While the car was off,I put it in 1st gear and when I tried to start it, it gave a jerk.

To cut the long story short,the gear is working when the car is off but it isnt working when the car is on.

I was told by my friend that there is some problem with the clutch plate.I checked the clutch wire, it isnt broken.

Please help me guys.Tomorrow I have to go to mechanic, so I want to prepare myself what is the problem.I don't want the mechanics to do something wrong with my car.

check when the clutch press in the engine where the clutch cable moves, if not, wire broken, if it is moving the problem is in the side of the gearbox, not the clutch plate with the fixer of the clutch plate.

I also had this problem, but my problem was missed makainak screw with motor gearbox. when I press the clutch gearbox to move away from the engine, so that link did not work and the acceleration was not moving, but acceleration was turned off as well.
