Engine change OR mechanics can work?

Honda Civic 95, reducing oil in very short time, smoke emission-Change of engine or mechanics can work. Honda workshop says, engine needs to be changed or compoents (rings, piston etc) to be changed. Plz adivse and estimed cost of each option.

I think it would be better if you swapped the engine. You could put a nice EFI VTEC engine in the car, and even have some CNG on an engine that would give you better power and mileage. The engine will drop in without a problem.
