Engine heat up

AOA,

I have a se saloon which is heating up real quick even though i dont do long drives or anything, i put some coolants but that dont work, the temperature gauge is always a 2 lines higher than normal which is in the middle, but last night the needle went near all the way up near H, any suggestions what i can do? cheers

Try filling it till the brim at night, and watch in the morning if there's any reduction. Thats how you'll know if there's a leak in the radiator.

If it doesn't reduce water at night, but does it only when driven, then the first thing you shoud do is - change the radiator cap. Buy one original one -its better to spend 400rs once rather than spending 150 rupees 4-5 times.
