guys does anyone know how to identify whether TURBO (in GTti) is working or not?? which pistons/rings should work best in it. can i replace the orignal intercooled turbo with someother stage 2 turbo? or do i have to go thru some manifolds changes? where can i find a turbo for myself??

engine rebuild ?????????? bro if turbo is faulty normally ur car would puff blue smoke when its cold.In some cases u get one puff of blue smoke when u start the car indicating a hair line crack.check for turbo lag.single turbo's r engaged in the initial pickup un like the twini's that go thruout the rev range.not too sure what car u on about but a few gasket changes should do the trick
