Engine Seize vs Pre Seize

(Actually the story goes like this i borrowed the car despite warning that engine is weak and can be seize any time. but i finally make it seize.... anyway whatever.)

My question is whats the difference in expence to overhaul an engine just before sieze and overhaul after complete seize. and why it is much better(if so) to fix the engine before complete seizure.

I hope it will also help other friends to be precautious when engine is weak.

The earlier you go for an overhaul, the lesser the expenses, your car should be eating oil, oil level drops and instead of replacing only Rings+Pistons you have to replace bent cam shaft, weight and almost all the basics engine got, without oil they all get grinded !
