Engine Stalls

I need some expert opninion about this problem.

The car is EE90 engine is 2E.

Recently rebuilt everything is in top condition.

Problem.

With A/C and some people in car when at red signal or starting from stand still the engine stalls but as soon as the car start moving no probs at all its pickup is good everything is fine.

I can still pickup the car but i am really not comfertable the way car tries to stall.

Is this bcoz weak clutch pressure plate? or low torque of engine? I tried this test on XLI today the BHP of XLI is almost same with 2E i know the XLI got way better engine but what i did was with 4 people on board i tried on all signals to take off car in 2nd gear and it worked easily now if xli can do this in 2nd gear why cant this oldie do it in 1st easily?

Now while rebuiling engine both clutch and pressure plate were AISIN japanese and were in good condition.

Most mechanics cant work out this issue they will say its fine but i know its not fine.
