EPS Light. Power Steering issue

AoA all, I have PASSO 2008 model. I need help and suggestions regarding EPS matter of my car. The car was working perfectly and everything was okay and suddenly my car EPS amber light pop out. It was rare in the start but with the passage of time it came permanently. Mechanic scanned the whole car and was unable to find anything wrong and everything was functioning properly. After few days car run 10 days its Power card is not working properly so need to open it,when he open dash board to make access for card then we fine Plug of card is connected properly and when he install it properly fault vanished and after few days same fault came again on permanently and mechanic asked me to change the card now but I am in confusion, either its card related matter o r only plug looseness issue . Please guide me to resolve this issue.
