Expert's Please reply (Problem with my Honda Civic

Dear Experts,

I currently have a Honda Civic VTI Oriel Prosmetic 2006. Its millage is 53,000 km. I was driving it on the highway and max speed it could go to was 150 km/hr using Petrol in D-Gear on a straight road.

I had the car tunned at 51,500 km from Honda and considering i was the only passenger in the car should'nt it go to atleast 180 km/hr. Do tires play a role in it ? as i have 205/60/R15 (broad tires) as compared to the original 185/55/R15.? Can it be bad spark plugs ?

Please advise if somebody has experienced this problem before.

auto's speed is comparatively lower than manual however ur speed is quite low. when tell da honda ppl to tune up the car all they do is change the oil, check spark plugs, oil and air filters...which is not enuf...once in a while after bout 50-60km or more u need to get ur throttle body cleaned...it all depends on the air fuel mix ur car is getting... so i think u shud get ur throttle body cleaned.

yes big tires also lower the speed.

i took my vti or pros 2002 to 174km/hr on motorway on petrol. it refused to go beyond that. rpm was about 4000. do u think its okayy?? 86000km covered by the car.
