Guys,

I need to check what is the 'coolant temperature' of both diesel and petrol engines, at normal working conditions of engine.

I need to know what is the difference of 'Heat Guages' in petrol and diesel engines.

my car is a diesel one.. and it operates in the following temperature range...

79 C to 88 C

as the fans start working if the temperature reaches 88 and bring the temperature down to 79 where the fans turn off...

its the coolant temperature in degree centigrades...

mostly diesels work between a similar temperature range...
