From automatic to manual?
From automatic to manual?
Hello guys! I said I was looking for a roadster and asked members which one to buy? Solstice or the air. But finally, I bought 2007 Chrysler 300 RWD Base. The transfer is okay, but I do not so much because it's 4-speed A / T, I want to know if it possible to automatic transmission into a manual transmission. If so, how much it would cost me and where can I get it done in Chicago, IL or Manhattan, NY?

It is possible but needs $ $ $ $ and will kill residual value.
First find a matching transmission either from manual pattern of the same vehicle. If no manual model for such a vehicle, then select a nearly matching transmission from another car. Go to a CNC shop and ask them to give you a mating adapter to go between your engine and transmission. You will need your torque converter means, the installation of a heavier flywheel and clutch plate.
If a modern car, your ECU is probably linked to sensors in the gearbox. You need a way to get them to nullify or otherwise affect its signals to the engine ECU also affect engine performance to find. The right person to be here to consult tuner shops familiar with your car computer. In the case of complex systems such modification can provide very high cost. An alternate, ECU aftermarket kits. If your injectors and sensors are standards you can possible. Again, your ECU can be connected to other features of the car computer and if you cannot than driving / route them over this project completely unfeasible and money pit.
