Gear lever & engine shaking

while accelerating, i have noticed that the gear lever shakes vigorously and i also feel that the engine isn't smooth either and i feel engine shaking too.. this happens when accelerating a bit hard, i.e when i want to accelerate quickly (usually in 1st to 3rd gear).. on 4th its quite normal. car is khyber 2000. what can be the reason? (i have changed plugs but no use)

check engine foundations and u can check that at home by parking the car, pull the handbrake, get the car into first gear and jerk it a bit, if u see violent moves by the engine it means ur car's engine foundations need to be changed.
