Hi,

I remember you posting sometime back that you used the following on your Vitz. Could you give me the brand names that you used as my friend who has a Vitz would like the info.

Transmission oil - Type TIV - Which brand?
Engine oil - TMO 2000 (4 litres) - Which brand?
Air Filter - Will the local ones do?
Brake Fluid/oil - Brand? Will the DOT3 one do?
Fuel Filter - Brand? Ones used in Toyota cars?
Oil Filter - Brand?
Radiator (LL Coolant) - Japanese ones available in the market?

Transmissino oil was provided by toyoa not sure which oil it really was butit came in toyota bottles, engine oil was toyota motor oil (TMO) air filter was a standard toyota item, brake fluid was again toyota branded oil (not sure as to what DOT it was, will check), fuel filter was a standard toyota item, oil fiter was also a standard toyota item, radiator coolant was basic coolant youcan get from toyota as well.

this main reason my servicing costed so much was that i bought all the stuff directly from toyota, as long as you can get the same spec stuff from elsewhere you'll be ok, i'll check the boxes and bottles and let you know soon.
