which one is better
solid audio or jbl

pls explain

Definately JBL over Solid Audio.

Sorry to burst everyones bubble, but there arent ANY original Solid Audios available. The company shut down back in 2002 if I remember. All real solid audios have the word solid audio embossed on the side panels. I havent seen any with it.

Its a China or a Lahori amplifier. Any other chinese amplifier that you buy will be less costly yet work the same.

Both of you should get 4 channel amplifiers. JBL CS60.4 is the cheapest good option. Another good option is Kole Audio KX600.4

Maxtor you will use each speaker with each channel of amplifier.

Jdalai you will bridge your subwoofer to the amplifier and use the speakers on the other two channels.
