Guidance required abt increasing engine performance

salam, i have corolla gli 2009 and in order 2 increase its engine performance without compromising its fuel consumption... what kind of equipment shud i install ?

before you do anything else,.. upgrade your brakes, then lower the weight, then improve your driving style. all of these things will help it accelerate and stop faster.

my advice is to leave the car alone and rather sell it and get something else if you intend on going fast. these cars are small sedans, they are built for family use not for performance driving.
