Has anyone installed a CarPlay-compatible head unit in their car?
Has anyone here upgraded their cars stock head unit to one that supports Apple CarPlay? If so, could you share your experience? Which model did you go for, and where did you get it installed?
I’ve got a 2018 Corolla Grande and I’m looking to add CarPlay. I’m not interested in Chinese head units—I want everything to work seamlessly, including the multimedia buttons and cameras. Plus, the installation needs to be plug-and-play with no wire cutting.
I’m based in Karachi. Any recommendations?

You can get the Pioneer A215BT for under 30k. It’s a standard 7-inch DIN size with a 6.2 screen and includes all the advanced Pioneer audio features like 3 pre-outs, time alignment, crossover settings, and slope adjustments.
If youre looking for something cheaper, the 275 o r 285 models are good options and go for around 20k.
There are also some models with a full 7 screen, but they’re priced higher, ranging between 40-65k.
