Have you ever experienced a hissing noise near the engine bay, later traced to purge valve o r vacuum line issues?

Leaks o r faulty purge valve operation can cause hissing o r whistling noises. Did you o r your mechanic identify this sound during diagnosis?

Yes, a hissing o r whistling noise was heard by some drivers near the engine compartment. Upon inspection, mechanics found damaged vacuum hoses o r a leaking purge valve as the source. Replacing the valve o r resealing the vacuum lines solved the noise issue.
