A stuck purge valve can cause fuel vapors to escape instead of being redirected to the intake manifold. Have you experienced this issue in summer o r after filling the tank?

Yes, especially in summer o r after refueling, some owners detected a strong petrol odor around the car. This was traced to a leaky o r stuck purge valve that allowed fuel vapors to escape instead of recycling them back to the engine. Mechanics often checked the purge valve and vapor canister in such cases.
