Help Me Out Experts

i got 99-00 civic vtec.
i got some serious heat up problems sometimes it works gr8... but all of sudden all coolant disappears heatup. i regular check the liquid of radiator when it comes to do problems the liquid becomes less
but sometimes i dont fill it up till 5-6 days but sometimes dailyi have to fill it up
waterbody is working fi9
gasket is changed
dont know whats the problem guys
mechanic saying change the engine's block. So i need ur help guys on this serious issue

Check the radiator thoroughly for leakage,check the radiator fan and thermostat for proper functioning because it might be possible fan stop working some time during running,make sure for cylender head bolt tight properly,cylender head may be cracked due to improper tightenning sequences of bolt while fixing.
