Hiace 2L diesel to Petrol(and then CNG) conversion

Hi All,

I have plan to swap the dying 2L engine of my Hiace with a petrol engine and then CNG to reduce running costs.

possible petrol engine choices are 1RZ (2.0L), 2RZ(2.4L) and 3RZ(2.7L)

check some prices in Pindi... 1RZ swap alone costs 85K .. but i think 1RZ will be underpowered!

can any peshawar member help find the swap prices in peshawar for a hiace 91 model?

Also i guess the TN2 C kit will work with the 150HP petrol engines...rite?

Sherry not bad idea.. but I would suggest you to swap it with its orignal engine.. there wouldnt be too much of difference in the running cost... but if u really wanna switch to CNG... thn 1RZ would be fine for normal usage... you might feel under powered if you are carrying extra load... Considering power to weight ratio... I dont think 1rz would be underpowered.. still lets see what experts suggest
