Hissing sound in civics

i have noticed that in 2005 civics there is a hissing noise when the engine revs are rising from 2000rpm and then disappears at high rpm. u have to listen carefully to it. it sounds like hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. every civic does this (vti,exi 2005). plz tell me the reason.

yeah its kinda sound from its Efi system and can be from any stuff like Alternator as Testdriver said....!
this kind of sound usually comes from new gen Efi engines....same sound came from Corolla Z-Gen...listen it carefully...!
i think its from Efi system...as i thought...!
