Honda City Heating Problem
Honda City Heating Problem
Hey everyone!
Ive got a 2010 Honda City 1.3 manual, and Ive been experiencing overheating issues lately. It runs fine on regular roads, but when stuck in traffic o r going uphill, it heats up. The heat-up sign appears, but after idling for a few minutes, it goes away. I noticed that the coolant from the radiator is being pushed into the reservoir bottle, causing it to overflow and bubble.
The fans seem to work fine, but they start a bit late when the car heats up. Ive checked the thermostat, and it seems okay, and the radiator cap looks fine too. Im not sure about a head gasket leak since there are no other related symptoms like white smoke, milky oil, o r coolant loss. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Im really confused and would appreciate your help and guidance.
Thanks!

Hey, hows it going?
Did ya mix the coolant concentrate with water before pouring it into the radiator? Its super important to dilute the coolant concentrate just like the manufacturer tells ya before using it.
If ya dont get the mix right, it could mess up the cooling process and make your engine overheat. So, remember to stick to the right coolant-to-water ratio to make sure the coolant does its job properly in your cars cooling system,
alright?
