Honda Civic 1999 EXI OIL Change

Honda Civic 1999 EXI OIL Change

About a month ago I bought a Used Honda Civic 1999 Manual Transmission. It was not in decent condition but I had some work done and I also changed the oil. Old oil was black and Sludgy.
So a friend told me to use Helix 20W50 and after that, I started to see black lets near my dipstick.

I was like what I just changed the oil turns out the Oil above the first hole is like gold very clear.
The oil at the tip was black and thick. I don’t know I thought this was from the previous oil because there is no way new oil is going to turn out black so soon.
Please tell me what is going on.

The engine is experiencing some kind of issue that is causing the oil to become contaminated o r to break down more quickly than normal. Some possible causes of this problem could include a faulty oil filter, an issue with the engine itself such as excessive wear o r damage, o r a problem with the way the oil is being added to the engine.

Plus you can only use 10W-30 for your car.
