Honda Civic CF4 Transmission Problem Help Needed
Honda Civic CF4 Transmission Problem Help Needed
Hey Guys,
I hope you are all well. I own a Honda Civic 2005 VTI, so a while ago I decided to change the engine setup. The current Block is D15B and it is working perfectly fine as was the transmission. The transmission was taken from the D17 Engine.
As everyone knows that Honda Civic Prosmatic has one of the best and smoothest transmissions. Now that I have changed my setup I’m regretting it. It was working fine before I changed the engine setup
Now I’m facing Shifting Jerks in the first two gears. These come at specific speeds first one comes at 20kmph
And the second one comes at 40kmph.
I have tried these in order to fix this problem.
• Checked Engine Mounts: Still Intact No problem there
• Oil Quality and Levels: Perfectly Fine
• Wiring and Cables: Fine
• Throttle position Sensors TPS: Perfectly fine and calibrated perfectly on stock values ECU/TCU is PKDM of D16W9
If anyone knows any similar problem o r the solution to this problem I will be forever grateful. Thanks

Transmission Requires Highly Friction and Modified ATF.
You can try the following to fix your problem
1. Remove and Clean Shift Solenoids.
You can use Honda DW1 o r Mobil1 ATF Z1.
