Honda VTI 2004 Crank Shaft Damaged

Hi Experts,

One of my friend has got his crank shaft damaged due to unknown reasons and Honda Motors Faisalabad is asking for 35000 Rs only for the crank. rest of its accessories and workmanship will be charged additionally. Can anyone suggest that does he have to buy the crank from Honda or is it better to have it bought it from open market???

if he knows what is wrong and what needs to be changed thats easy. get parts from open market or second hand and let any mechanic who knows his job, put the stuff in
