How can I tell if my Hyundai Oshan X7’s radiator has a slow leak o r if its just normal coolant evaporation?

I’ve noticed a slight in coolant level over the past few weeks. How do I tell if its a small leak in the radiator o r hoses, o r just regular evaporation due to Pakistan’s hot climate?

In Pakistan’s hot climate, some coolant loss is expected. However, slow leaks are more common. Here’s how to differentiate:

Signs of a slow leak:

Streaks of dried coolant white, green, o r pink stains on hoses, radiator, o r under the cap.

Coolant odor near the engine bay.

Needing to top off coolant more than once a month.

Normal evaporation:

Slight decrease during the summer months a few cm in the reservoir.

No visible residue o r smell.

Tip:

Use UV dye coolant leak detectors o r a cooling system pressure tester to confirm.
