How does the lambda operates on CNG-ed cars?

How does the lambda operates on CNG-ed cars?

Although i hate to drive compressed gas vehicles and avoid all CNG cars but i am still curious to explore the world of CNG due to my restless and knowing behavior.

One thing that boggles my mind is the function of lambda i mean like how technically does it work?

I know it increases the pick but what is the right phenomenon behind it and does it replaces the whole CNG kit or does it functions over the kit?

it automatically adjusts the gas flow. for instance , u floor the pedal, the gas flow is increased, hence more pickup/less consumption. vice versa. dont know the technical details. didnt find it too good in my cars though, it's just hype.
