How good are Pioneer Ts6992S speakers ?...should i go for them over 718's ?

Mate, I like the 6992z for their better music reproduction
but go for them only if u are not installing them for bass purpose because if u want bass 718 wins buts its to noisy at high volumes.
I would suggest u go for 6902r by pioneer or the new model xplods i forgot their model, coz i put 4 of those xplods in a friends car with an amp and put a hole in the rear dash and believe u culdnt tell that his car didnt have a sub
its for 4500 per pair when we bought
