The Alsvin’s 1.3L and 1.5L engines perform adequately on highways. The 1.5L DCT variant offers better power for overtaking and climbing hills, making it more suitable for northern areas. The 1.3L manual is fuel-efficient but can feel slightly underpowered during steep climbs o r with full load. Overall, the engine maintains smooth performance and decent fuel economy 13–15 km/l on long routes, provided you plan gear changes o r DCT response accordingly.
